Contagious Generosity
Part 2

Contagious: “communicable by contact,” describes something that is very easily transmitted. It is likely to spread to and affect others.
Generosity: the willingness and action of giving away good things to others freely and abundantly. (such as one’s money, time, abilities).
So contagious generosity means spreading to others the willingness to freely give of one’s time, talents and treasure.

A biblical worldview of stewardship is managing everything God brings into the believer’s life in a manner that honors God and impacts eternity.

Psalm 24:1 NIV
The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it,
the world, and all who live in it.

I am accountable to God for my Time, Talents and Treasure.

Psalm 90:12 NIV
Teach us to number our days,
that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

1 Peter 4:10 NIV
10  Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as
faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

1 Chronicles 29:12-14 NIV
12  Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things.
In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all.

13  Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name.
14  “But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously
as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your
hand.

When I steward what God has given me obediently, I will be Blessed.

Colossians 3:23-24 NIV
23  Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human
masters,  24  since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a
reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
