Reflection:
Life can wear you out, but God promises renewal. In our final quote from John Eldredge’s book Get Your Life Back, he writes, “Your soul has been living under constant assault. It’s time to give it back its freedom.” (Page 135)
When you wait on God, He restores your strength. You don’t have to keep running on empty. When life becomes overwhelming, leaving you feeling exhausted and depleted, but God promises renewal for your weary soul.
The constant demands, stress, and distractions take a toll on our inner peace. But when you wait on God, He restores your strength and refreshes your soul.
Isaiah 40:31 reminds us, “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles.” You don’t have to keep running on empty—God invites you to rest in Him, where He will fill you with the strength and peace you need to keep going.

Take time today to reflect on areas of your life where you feel worn out. Ask God to renew your strength and refresh your spirit. Trust that He will help you soar again.
